Amber update

Tammy, you and Amber have been on my mind these past few days. Hang in there. All we can do is hope for the best at this point.

I have been praying and will continue to pray .

So as not to do another post, I will post here.I hope all see it!
I got a call today that I fear the worst will be told to us.
The Nurse for Dr.Day called and said that he wants Amber in on Tuesday at 11 to go over the results of her MRI.
Now, for the fear reason, he told me that if there was NOTHING of concern that showed on the MRI, that I was to bring her in on March 20 for a re-check.And if there was something of concern,that I'd have to bring her back in sooner.
I asked the Nurse "so, he found something that has caused him some concern?" She said "yes and that he would go over the results on Tuesday with us."She said she couldn't say anything else that he had to go over the results and then we'd go from there.
I asked why he couldn't get her in before Tuesday, and was told Tuesdays are the ONLY day that he's in.So, it has to be something that is enough concern for him to pull us in on Tuesday.
I keep TRYING to think only positivaly,but it's not working very well to be honest.
I will update on Tuesday after we get back if I'm able to.If not, then I will IM Nita or someone and ask them to post for me.

Hang in there Tammy. I am here if you need anything. I am keeping you and Amber in my prayers. Also- it might just be that the doctor knows you're concerned and wants to address the issues as soon as possible- it might not be too serious Try to think on the positive side until you know otherwise honey I am sending lots of ((((Stay Strong VIBES))) your way.

Don't go assuming the worst, Tammy. It may be that he has a full schedule and wants to get you in so you don't make yourself crazy waiting until March 20th. Or he might realize all them times you been calling him that you are VERY serious about this, and will keep bugging him about it, so he's getting you in early.

Hang in there. I can understand how you feel. I was unfortunate to find something out about my parent's health a year and half ago and it has devastated me. I hope and pray that you will not have to worry and that she will be fine. The doctor knows how worried and concerned you are so it's good that he is calling you in. Have faith in the doctor.

Well I still beleive that they shouldn't scare people untill there sure, My Oldest Daughter was just and still is in the hospital she has a very bad infection in one of her breasts they opened it drained it, and scraped it, The Dr was in there Tuesday Evening and told her that one part of what they removed felt like cancer I was furious and I told her I can't believe she said that without results back, so she's been crying all day yesterday and today and I just talked to her and the Dr had just been there and said It was benign. So after all the worry for nothing I don't like when they play guessing games with someones emotions, It's not fair.

Tammy, I'm still saying prayers for your daughter and your family. In a few days you will know what is going on and what your options are.

Tammy, try not to get too stressed until you have the actual results. Take a note pad on Tuesday & write down notes.

Our thoughts here as well. Take care of yourself as well Tammy.

Continuing to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I know it will be a long wait until Tuesday, but please try not to imagine the worst. As others have said, hope that the Dr is just doing his best to make the waiting as short a time as possible, before he sets your mind at rest with perfectly manageable news. At any rate, soon you will know what you are dealing with. And we are here for you, no matter what.

Your worrying is quite understandable, but try not to make yourself crazy painting the worst possible scenario. The doctor may merely have found something minor that's causing Amber's knee problems.
