she looks a lot closer then anne does , she has no milk atall yet and she has about 10 days to go, and she still has some hair around her nipples.

i don't mind not knowing cos i have the vets mobile numbers and have been told if i'm at all worried about her then ring day or night
post #39 of 53
aw thats ok then , besides he should have a rough guess so if you do need to phone him he can let you know roughly how many he could hear. i wasnt asked if i wanted to know but he did say he could only feel about 2.
i know the feeling with all the rain , done nothing else all day here in london

we are in a foot in 1/2 snow here so I am also stuck inside.

Cats carry babies on 2 sides and to be honest in my opinion I do not think vets can really tell how man because I was told Skittles had 4-5 at most. then it was 7 or 8 on ultrasound she had 13. I think anything over 3 or 4 the vet has a hard time feeling for. But that is just my opinion ok

to be perfectly honest i don't care how many she has as long as her and babies are ok thats all that matters to me
post #42 of 53
very true , the less anne has the better , as i might have a hard time homing to many , just a shame i cant keep any of them. iv been through this twice , with anne this will be the thrid time ,her fourth time though , long story, and i still worry so much about what could happen , as iv had a pregnancy go wrong before. so every little thing now , anne gets rushed to the vets.
at least now shes with me she can be finally spayed once her kittens have weened
