Oh geez....these kitties are going to give me gray hair!

While we were preparing our romantic Valentine's Day dinner we must have dropped the elastic that had our asparagus wrapped up....and I didn't notice until I saw Sydney chewing on something. I was able to force a little bit of it out of her mouth...but she ate the rest

I've already been in contact with my vet and she told me just to keep a very close eye on her...to moniter for signs of vomitting and hopefully it will pass in her stool

Silly Sydney!

I'm sending many vibes that she safely passes the elastic!

Silly girl! Don't worry - my Wiggies has done the exact same thing. We have to hide elastics immediately from him or else he'll chew on them. He was fine after eating one once though.
Enjoy your romantic dinner!

Oh Sydney!

Try getting some hairball remedy down her to help things move along.

So true! It's funny we're always talking about spending fortunes trying out foods that they won't touch, but any old rubber band will suffice! Silly kitties. I hope Syndney's OK.

Chessy will eat any plastic, rubber band, or string if it's available to him. He reminds me of a goat.
