Happy valentines day to me!

So I feel the need to share some of my happiness with the way this day is working out.
The last couple of weeks have been chaotic for me with school and everything else that goes with being on one's own.
Yesterday I had a bad day (for the most part). I got a test back that I didn't do well on, was grumpy and tired and bloated and...ick
BUT today I woke up to a snowstorm. All of the schools an school offices and everything were closed for our area except for MY school . However, my dad did call to wish me happy valentines (awww) and I got to wear my new sweater that I bougt myself (YAY) and the lady I do a volunteer placement for called and told me not to come (YAY). SO I took a nap with Chester. When I JUST woke up to get ready for school, I checked the school page, and all classes have been cancelled for the rest of the day (YAY), then chester came and sat on my lap, which he never does ( ).
I'm so happy I'm snowed in with the puddy tats...I'm also pretty pleased that this is the first year in many that I can honestly say I love myself and have treated myself the way I should, so I am my own Valentine!

I think tonight is going to be some shrimp, as a special treat!
