I went out to continue my neverending job of shoveling, and I saw this red tailed hawk sitting at my neighbors feeder, trying to find some food.....We've NEVER seen him there before.........I felt so bad. I tried to get the last shot of him as he flew up into the wires, but unfortunatly, it came out blurry.....poor little, or should I say big, guy...........

Oh I'm SOOO disgusted! This hawk must have killed another bird at the feeder, because he is now out there eating it!!!

Sorry to hear that, but that's how it is in nature. The hawk is a carnivore.

At least it wasn't a bratty kid with a BB gun or slingshot.

Ok. So do this. Without his sacrifice the hawk could not live. So gather up the feathers (gotta clean them up anyway right).. Take them someplace where it's windy and it's ok for them to lay. And let em have one last flight.
Say a prayer before you let them go and thank him.

Here... or There... Hmmm
What a gorgeous hawk!! Sorry about the other bird, but what if it had frozen to death and the hawk was just eating it so it didn't go to waste!??
