The best of luck for you and the mom to be.

Please post pictures of the babies when they are born.

Ginger sounds like a very special kitty. Let's hope she found her way to another home and is safe and sound and being well cared for. I feel the same about Bootsie. He is feral and probably the father of these babies. He looks like he's had a rough life with dead tail and all.

He disappeared before our big storm on Tuesday, and the snow is way too deep for him to make it back to the barn now. I'm really worried about him. It is supposed to warm up next week and I'm going to drive tracks with our 4-wheeler from the neighbor's shed to my place in hopes he'll travel back over. (I often saw his tracks head over there and back again...he may go under the neighbor's house) The wind chill has been in the negative numbers.
I've got to get him trapped and neutered at some point.

I brought Honey in cuz I knew her babies would surely die outside. Also becasue she allowed me to!
It's so hard to see them have to deal with frigid temps or harsh conditions. Especially being pregnant!

My thoughts with animals are "There will be no suffering on my watch."

I really hope she made it to a new home. I hope they all did.

Sadly Daphne, Clarie's daughter (Claire wasn't spayed), who didn't run away, gave birth to kittens in June. My friend's dad's girlfriend was too irresponsible to have her spayed in time. But the biggest tragedy is that Daphne died four months later. I still have not gotten over it, even though I didn't know Daphne too well, she was a sweet cat and deserved so much better. She was only 2 years old.

I'm sorry to say such things, because I know there are so many caring and devoted people here who would be upset to hear stories like this. I myself will never get over tragedies like this. I place the blame on my friend's dad and his girlfriend for taking on too many cats and dogs without the slightest idea of how they would care for them.

She is huge and very pretty. I want to see kitten pictures
. Skittles got so big her belly would stop her from walking lol. I finally put her in the bottom of my closet. She felt the safest in there and the box thing I feel made her feel trapped. I was able to open and close the door as I needed to and she kept each kitten in there for 9 weeks.

I wonder too. My computer died, so my access is limited for a while. so you all know...I'm not ignoring anyone!

She's a silly little girl. I'm getting to know her more and more as she gets comfortable.
I think it's funny that Popeye has been the 'beater upper' (for lack of a better term lol) but now when Honey is feeling frisky and challenges him...he runs away like a scared little girl..hehe. He's growing up (finally).

She's a weeble alright. Doing well!

Nothing yet..
I'm off this weekend and hope she holds out til then so I can be home. If not this weekend, then she must wait til Thursday because then I have a week off to be home for her.
I've lost everything on my computer. All my pictures, everything.

I have yet to get it up and running. I hope to work on it this weekend because if she starts nesting and stuff I'll be a basket case if I can't reach you guys for support! (I need a new HD and OS (xp). What a pain.)

She's not liking the crate idea...I'm not sure how to handle this. It may be a last minute thing to get her set up once she starts labor...*sigh*
Can you tell I'm starting to stress?

Fudge was exactly the same....she didnt give the crate a second glance, and when she went into labour she actually lay on the couch next to me!!
I just carried her into the cage and she lay down straight away and happily gave birth there. She has stayed there ever!
