My 6 month old kitten "OZZY" likes to do kitty biscuits, on a blanket I normally use. Usually this would not be a problem, but the last couple of weeks, I have noticed he will also suck on the blanket at the same time. At times he will also do this on my robe. He does this only on my blanket, and robe. He usually does this in the morning, or evening when he is just relaxing. I have actually seen him seek out the blanket if it is in a pile with other blankets. Any ideas why he does this?
I don't think it is something I should worry about, but I'm tired of wet spots on the blanket. Please tell me other cats do this too, and I don't have a "weird" cat.

This is typical behavior from kitties who were taken from mom way to early. I always try and discourage this behavior for my own personal reasons, but some people think it is cute and let their kitties do it. I give kitty a substitute item to suck on a stuffed animal and after he is used to sucking on it and gets older and is still doing it, I spray the animal with bitter apple spray and the behavior stops. I also cuddle the kitten and play with it and try not to leave it alone and comfort it when I can to help ease the transition.
