I was wondering if there were an known feline diseases that could cause discoloration in the nose, eyes and lips. My sister says that our cat has developed black spots on said areas and that a cat she had had before died shortly after the discovery of like symptoms. Any information is greatly appreciated.

It's really hard to tell via internet. What kind of spots, like acne or just the skin changing colour?

Has she taken the kitty to a vet for an examination? That would be my first suggestion.

My mother's cat has a black mark on her lip which we pointed out to the vet. The vet recommended a biopsy of the mark as their was a concern it may be cancerous. To be safe, you may want to get her checked out and speak with a vet about them. Poor kitty!!
