When I met my husband, he claimed he didn't like cats (HA).

Here are 3 from when we were bottle feeding an orphaned litter. He used to sleep on the floor with them to give off his body heat to keep them warm. He was their favorite play toy:




Here is his little dumpling Scarlett (also bottle fed orphan from another litter):

Scarlett actually gets EXCITED when she sees Steve put on a sweatshirt. I've seen her practically drooling. She sleeps inside his sweatshirt most of the cold weather months. When not in his shirt, he carries her around like the earlier picture. And I mean constantly.

Yeah - he now claims he only likes "certain" cats (liar). But look at that cute little grin on his face when they are all snuggled in with him.

Both! LOL But it was Chevy's first night with us. I'll keep Scott too....guys that actually prefer cats over dogs are hard to find!

My dad never had a cat until he met mom. When he proposed, he knew full well it was a package deal. He'd get a wife, a daughter (my sis) and a cat. Not long after they were married, mom's cat became his cat.

It's funny how that works isn't it? My Grandpa also preferred cats. Scott never grew up with animals, not even fished, but liked babysitting at his aunt's house because their cat is a lap cat, and he liked that, He helped pick out both cats, and even asked to get Summer a buddy soon after we got her. It took us awhile (and we went to many shelters) but didnt find a cat that called to us llike Summer did. She chose us! I knew Chevy was coming home with us the second I held him!

When we first brought Wonton home, all Rick could say was "we don't really have the lifestyle for a cat. Who's going to change the litter? What about when we go away? I dont think this is a good idea. Are you sure you don't want to bring him to a shelter?" That was then...
