My husband is toooo much!

I got home late from work yesterday to find a beautiful vase of flowers on the kitchen counter. DH said since the wether was/is supposed to be bad he thought he'd get them a little early. I was like "Thank you Honey! I love tulips!" To which he replied "TULIPS!?! I thought they were funny roses!"

He was dead serious! He really thought they were roses. I mean they are pretty closed up so maybe that's why.... He said something along the lines of 'the tag did say something like that....' My poor Honey! I just gave him a kiss and I think I love him even more for it!

How sweet. I know I love my DH more when he makes me laugh (always unintentionally - poor dear). Hopefully he didn't pay the rose price.

Whats super cute is that he actually admitted to his mistake
Instead of being like "Yes, I knew you loved tulips thats why I didnt get Roses like everyone else"

I'm still laughing over it now. Poor guy! Everyone at work got a big kick out of it too. I told one of my students that I hope she gets funny roses for Valentine's day too! He is deffinately a sweetheart!
