Our Mate Kumbulu needs our prayers!

Hi every one,

Tania has made contact. She has asked me to let you all know she will be away from TCS or 6-8 weeks. I'm sure she won't mind me letting you all know that she has just found out her dad has lung cancer. She will be flying out to him tonight to stay with him and look after him. I am so upset for her. She said she will be popping in from time to time to say hello.

I would like to send my prayers and well wishes for her dad.

She has a friend looking after her furbabies for her.

Love you lot's Tania, I hope everything turns out okay and that you find the strength you need in the upcoming months.

You will be very much missed my mate!

Tania, you will be in my thoughts over the next few weeks. That is the hardest news to bear. I went with my parents for the first consulation with the Doctors when Mom was diagnoses with breast cancer. That was one of the most difficult hours of my life. It's tough to deal with all the technical terms, the emotions, and the tough decisions that the whole family has to make.

Oh I am so sorry to hear about this!!!! My prayers are going up for Tania and her father. This is so very sad. I wish there was something I could do or say to make her feel better, but I know I can't.

I am so sorry. I had this happen to my grandfather. I will be thinking about you and your family.

Tania - My prayers are with you and your Dad. I'm sort of "supervising" my Mom's care and treatment for metastatic breast cancer - fortunately my Dad is still around to do the day to day stuff, and I have a brother and sister to help. However, it is emotionally draining. I found a couple of support groups for caregivers, and they are a god send. I sometimes just need to get advice on what to do and say. Of course TCS is a really good support group as well.

And with my Mom - she was diagnosed two years ago, and most of us thought she would have 6 months to a year tops. Well, it's two years later, and we're planning Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary party.

Tania, you will be in my thoughts and prayers, lots of love coming your way, take care of yourself and check in with us when you can - we miss you!!
