Just watching t.v. a bit this evening while I'm making dinner...and I noticed how so many businesses are using oldies music in commercials. I'm Free To Do What I Want by the Rolling Stones for Chase for example...can't they come up with new jingles?

Have you ever made up a jingle of your own that you should have submitted or did submit to a company for their approval? Please share it with us!

I think they use classics because its something everyone hears on a daily basis, and when you hear it they want you to think of thier product.

It's also cheaper for them to purchase the rights on songs when their copyright expires than it is to have new jingles written.
