One of my mom's friends had a baby that was 12LBS... she had him naturally!

Thats a big baby!

Wow! That is a huge baby! I wonder if the momma had PCOS or Diabetes...sometimes those can cause a higher birth weight in infants. I hope he is happy and healthy though! That's all that matters

It's amazing... the baby looks like my friends 11 month old he's so big!! I bet they have to buy all bigger clothes for him.... the mind boggles.

My dad weighed 15 lbs at birth, and he was born at home. EEEK!

All I can say is OUCH! Another reason I am afraid to have kids.

MY first son weighed 10 lb 1 oz and was 22" long - THAT was more than enough for me.

BTW: I had him naturally and went home from the hospital, the next day.
