I just called in to get my access code so I can file my taxes online..and the stupid voicemail thing is saying I can't file until February 12th....Uh.............

IT IS FEBRUARY 12TH!! WILL SOMEONE TELL THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT THAT?!?!?!?

So, now I have to wait until tomorrow to file...friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig!

Well the good thing is once you efile - your code will be mailed to you next year. There is a limit on when you can start filing simply because you will need to update your software....this is when they put updates avail on line for the new tax year. I've been filing my own for about 5 years now. Every year I get a sticky label that has my code on it....so I never have to call.

Yeah, my code is at home though and I wanted to file it today at work

I did mine by phone this morning. it was open then. Then my mum did hers right after.

Finally Cappy can be neutered with the tax return money.

I told my boss to do my T4 last week, and he did..I wanted to file as soon as possible..I need to pay off my Christmas debt

Yea, Im still waiting on 2 T4s....one from Ontario, one from Alberta....i dont see a speedy return in my future!

We do ours in March/April. I can't remember which month, but they do it for me here, and I don't have to worry about any paperwork. Hopefully not this year anyway!

i usually do them on paper before going to the accountant. Kinda a double check thing. If i figure I have a refund, I get the form send it quick, if I figure I have to pay, I hold off
. But it is always quick when I get a refund
