Everything looks like it is working there.

Do you think my speakers are just bad?

Did you go through all the settings to see if it's on mute or anything? I know it sound simple but it happens to me all the time. I've never had speakers go bad. But look at the wires to make sure no ones ate through them or there isn't a kink in them anywhere.

All the settings looked like they were on high, I didn't see anything that looked like it was on mute.

Oh, now it is back, maybe I am just losing my mind, I don't know what I did, but whatever it was, it worked.

Thanks for your help, salemwitchchild. I appreciate it, I am computer stupid, I would never had known to do what you told me to do.

I will try and remember that if it ever happens again.

I think someone must have called her and told her I was having trouble, and then she showed up here, cause she is right above me now.

Don't feel bad, my MIL called here yesterday with the same problem with her laptop- she had apparently bumped the volume wheel, and didn't even know it was there- my DH had to tell her what to look for. She had searched all through her programs and couldn't fix it.

And she teaches computer classes!
