I'm getting ready to install a game (BookWorm
) and have the drawer open for when I get the case open. (@#$%& cellophane!!!)

Anyway, Ari is on top of the computer case and starts pawing the drawer. I close it until I get the case open. (@#$%& cellophane!!!)

He paws around and opens the drawer again. (I'm still arguing with the @#$%& cellophane!!!)

I close it.

He goes directly to the button and opens it again.

I finally get the CD out of the case (@#$%& cellophane!!!) and put it in to load. Drive starts loading the game.

Ari opens the drawer - again.

Anyway, after a couple of "No!"s and the threat of making him into a white fur purse with a 14 inch strap, he leaves it alone and I finally get the game loaded.

I can play BookWorm again!

Ari-you're a genious! Now he knows how to get you to feed him faster when you're on the computer!

Ari is a genius.

I would love to have seen a video of that.

He had already been fed.

Hmm, teach him to open CDs... You may have something there, Helen.

Yeah - he should be a whiz at picking cellophane off!

Bookworm is great, Nat! I have it and really enjoy it!

BookWorm is great for those who like words. You click on letters to spell words and get points. The longer the word, the better. As you play, flaming tiles appear. If they reach the bottom of the screen before you use the letter in a word, the library goes up in flames and the game is over.

Before my computer troubles in October, I recall having had a game of over 2,000,000 points. Sis has a game like that going now.

It's great to see how many obscure words I can think of to use - expecially those that use a lot of "u"s. (Such as fugu and ulu...)

BTW - you can see it at www.popcap.com.

You should see his reaction to the VCR when it is rewinding.

Shhhh.... I just broke 8-Bit of that habbit. I used to come home from work with all my printer paper on the floor made into a kitty nest.

Now that sounds familiar! Jamie is a "button freak". BN caught him pressing the "quick" button on our water heater early this afternoon - it was there, so who cares if everybody had already showered?

I don't have a test button on the printer, but Ari is fascinated by the noises it makes as it readies and prints. He has stepped on the power button a couple of times - once shutting it off while printing.

Jamie always manages to hit the "fit to width" button on my notebook. It drives me nuts, because he'll do it 2 or 3 times an hour when I'm online. I didn't even know I had such a button till he started. Great - a cat who is more computer-savvy than I am!
Of course, he has a better idea of how to operate the DVD player/VCR than BN does!

I must admit, when I saw Jan's title my first thought was to wonder if Ari had been taking lessons from Jamie.
