Weird vision thing...

Does anyone else experience this?

This past week my left eye has been blurring when I first look at something...really I think its my contact.

The only thing I can think of is that my contact is a little more dry than usual cause after a second of looking, it clears up.

I get that if I am behind on sleep or really stressed out..It should go away soon enough. If its still doing that in a week or so, I would see an optometrist

Yup, tiredness and stress will do it, also lost of meds will cause blurring and dizziness. You might mention it to your doc.

My eyes do it pretty much all the time if I try to look at anything more than ten feet away.
But I suspect my eyes are bad
No, I know they are bad, but at last opt. visit they said I didn't need corrective eyewear yet, but I would in ten years.


That was 15 years ago.

Put in some new contacts, and if you experience the same problem, you need to make an appointment with your optometrist.

Something similar happened to me with my sunglasses, and it turned out to be nothing, but your symptom could also be the start of something serious. Most eye problems, if caught early, can be treated, but otherwise the damage might be permanent. It's not worth taking the chance, IMO.

Hmmm...I have my glasses on and all is well right now. Methinks its the contact.

Plus I realised a little while ago that the humidifier stopped (ran out of water). That might be why...
