What do you want for V-Day?

Remembering the exact date of V-Day would be a start, ha ha. Roses are good enough for me. Though, having fresh-cut around is NG here as Nermal eats them. I have to keep flowers on top of the fridge...not so pretty.

All I want is one thing for valentine's. Call me a sap or a romantic, but I want my sweetheart. miss her dearly, and cannot wait to have her in my arms again.

I'm just happy we aren't moving a 2000+ mile move... seems we always moved on holidays.

My husband's going to be in France, so we'll skip it this year.

Your so right, I shouldn't be so eager for one, I need a job first! I'm happy with my promise ring... for now

it is the same as me wanting my sweetheart in my arms, I can ask but I know i am not gonna get it. So I can only hope for my birthday now.

I'm not really ANTI-V-day, but I'm not necessarily a huge proponent.

Plus, I have a teaching lab until 9!

i just want to spend quality time with my family.

An engagement ring / Valentines day is going to stink for me. I'm a florist....We got our shippment in today for valentines day- i spent the entire day up to my ears in flowers I will do the same again tomorrow up till Valentines day. On valentines i have to work 11-8pm No fun for the florist!

Thankyou i appreciate that, I spend ALL day cutting in our new product- tomorrow i'm going to get a head start and go ahead and fix up a ton of arrangements....i'll make more as the week progresses- especially on Tuesday. Most people wait until Wednesday (valentines day) to get flowers thinking "i want to get them "new" while they're fresh." when in reality- just about every single order that goes out on Valentines day in most shops gets made on Mon/Tues because of time. It keeps well though as long as you cut it in right and fix it properly. (I always add preservatives to my arrangements - it extends their life...we gurantee our product to last because we want our customers to be happy...so i'm a stickler about the way my arrangements are made/kept. We got some gorgeous tulips in today -so i'm going to make a few pieces tomorrow with those! We also got GORGEOUS roses and lilies in too!! I love desigining. I'm hoping i get that new job soon (the one i started a thread about so that i can save up enough cash to start my own shop soon.) ./ I will say it does get frusterating though because everyone waits till the last minute with no consideration that the florists might like a nice romatic dinner too But ah that's the joy of Valentines day in a flower shop Colin and I will probably just grab dinner or something the day after- it doesn't have to be on that day for it to be special - but hey it'd be nice Till then- i have tons of work to do. I'm pulling a really long shift the rest of the week getting everything ready. My displays are ready to go and looking gorgeous! If i have time i'll snap a few pictures of my designs tomorrow if i remember

well its my wedding anniversary too we always used to buy gifts, but it gets hard to think of gifts, so now we just go out for a nice meal
