I'm nervous about picking up Dr Claw today. It was an off hand comment made by DH that got me going. He's said, "Oh, I just hope the little guy likes me."

It never occurred to me that he wouldn't, or that he wouldn't be happy with us.

Am I just being a nervous Nelly?

You're worried that a cat who is being given up because he doesn't match the couch anymore won't like it in your home? Yes, you're being a Nervous Nelly! Once he's had some time to adjust, and get used to Bit and Scratch, he'll probably love it.

that's right - he's a lucky cat to be adopted by you, and I'm sure he'll soon show his appreciation by helping 8-Bit destroy your apartment.

This is what makes me really nervous... 8-Bit is somehow roap this little guy into becoming bad!

The boys know something is up. They've been walking around for the last hour sniffing and trilling at me. I'm a bit nervous about Scratch's reaction. I know 8-Bit is going to be upset, but Scratch hasn't gone through this before. We shall see how it goes.

T-minus an hour before I to pick up Dr. Claw.

Yes you are being a nervous Nellie, and you are being a worry wart too.

Dr. Claw will be just fine.

Please let us know how everything goes when you get home, and please post some pictures too.

I'm charging the camera as I type, so pictures will be posted either tonight or tomorrow depending on how he reacts to things.

I always tend to over react when it comes to things like this. When we adopted Scratch I thought that I was the worst cat mewomy in the world, but hey it's how I found TCS!

Good luck! You are being a nervous Nelly, but that's what makes you a great meowmy! It's normal, you want them all to get along right away, so as not to stress anyone more than need be.
