I was sorting through some old photos this evening, and found the following from my teenage years - I was a teenager of the 80's - cue the big New Romantic hair - the satin shirt - the mass of blue eyeliner and the attitude...........

Gave me the best laugh I have had for a while..................

........................c'mon, lets see you all then.........

Woah, check out that hair!
I was a really ugly child, so I'm not quite sure if I want y'all to see.

What you don't see is the bright red cowboy boots that I refused to take off until I outgrew them and they started hurting

They looked very fetching with that granny dress

Must've been about a year and a half here...no computer games for this lil' girl...

I was one hippy lil' girl!...or so I thought
Just look at that outfit!!!

Here I am at around 16 or so with my best gal, my BuelaVira...my dad's mom
She gave me that dress for xmas and although I didn't like it, I agreed to wear it to have the pic made with her...

Now y'all don't know too much what I look like, but maybe you can pick me out of this bunch of gals at my last job for the next 20+ years after that! Uh, it was the early 80s...

I have been working on sorting out the old family photos and thank goodness I don't have a scanner as there are some ugly pictures!! Mom always cut our hair and gave perms etc... I'm amazing I'm not in therapy just for the hair!! In addition we of course we always dressed alike!!

OMG, I think we had the same childhood! Except my grandad gave us haircuts. Lined all 5 of us up and crew-cutted us all!
Good thing sis & I were tomboys.

I was just going through old photos last night. Gosh darn it all, I don't have a scanner either so unfortunately I can't share with you my lovely photos from the 80s. But I can wholeheartedly laugh at yours!

Feb 15th 1984 at 5:35 in the morning a cute little baby was born, then a week later she turned into a beetroot!

my shirley temple phase at about 4

The first time i met my baby cousin (2 years ago), he was about 7 months old, he lived interstate at that time so i didnt get to see him much, i got to spend some time with him a few months later for my bday, i got a plane ticket as a pressie. He now has an even younger sister, she is 8 months old and i still haven't met her =( but imagine, a 22 year age gap between the oldest cousin (me) and the youngest!

my highschool photos were pretty ugly and my primary school ones arent scanned in. lucky you! (well i was cute before i hit puberty lmao)

Sis - the oldest of the maternal cousins - is 59. Youngest is 27. How's that for a gap? 32 years...

Ahh well we're all the youngest generation but there could be a gap like yours when we're older
, no kids yet so it's still a big gap for me. Hopefully ill be the first to have children
