Cold weather - AGAIN!!!!

This was environment Canada for my area says for tonite....our kids had no school today because the temp was -32 and when its that cold the buses won't run....So we have a Windchill Weather Warning still in effect. Boy oh Boy...Anyone wanna send us warm weather vibes???? I think those of us on the Prairies could use lots and lots of them.

Wind chills have moderated to warmer than warning criteria for today but very cold temperatures tonight combined with light northwest winds are expected to once again develop wind chill values in the -40 to -45 range over much of southern Manitoba tonight

Darn, nad I thought the -30 temps we had earlier this week were bad. Cannot fathom -40 or -45 temps.

It was about -42 here last week, with the temp and windchill combined. It was SO cold, my car was having problems starting!!
We're in a heat wave now, high otday of 12*!

We had some snow earlier, but the snow squall warning was lifted.

It is a slightly warmer (than Manitoba) -21c with windchill here

Today is -31 and with the windchill -35..........they are predicting high -4 low -18 on Friday.....I think its a ploy to get our hopes up....then knock us down....lol

Right now its only -4 here (-9 with windchill) but tonight its going to be -14 (windchill -24). We have a winter storm watch right now. Supposed to get lots of snow overnight tonight.

yeah you guys in Ontario have been getting hit with more snow than us in Manitoba I think. We just have this dry cold....its all pretty yuck. I'll be glad when it +30 with the sun shinning and the green grass....whooohhoooooo,,, can't wait!!!!

They changed it now to 10-15 cm. I don't want that much snow. The bit on the ground is more than enough for me.

well at least I do not have to shovel the snow if it decides to fall, . Oh well, in a few months we will be wanting this type of weather when it is so humid out.

We have a Winter Storm Warning for tomorrow.
Some storm from Oklahoma is coming up and suspected to hit us pretty bad. 30cms + of snow and hard winds. blizzard like conditions last I checked. Brrr. Thats all we needed was MORE snow.
