Alright, well I could have sworn I saw a post about this just the other day, but I can't for the life of me find it.
So I guess I'll have to be a pain and ask it all over again lol.

Our cats seem to be extremely picky about the texture of their wet food (picky little buggers
). I've been feeding them Felidae Chicken and Rice and some of the different Eagle Pack flavours which are the paste-type food, and the old cat gets a senior food (the brand escapes me atm) which is chunky, and is 'wetter' I suppose, because there's gravy, and all the other cats go crazy for it. So what I'm looking for are good quality, reasonably priced wet foods that are chunky lol

That might have been me the other day, but I was looking for non-chunky.

Off the top of my head, the Nutro Max Cat Gourmet Classics in 3oz cans or pouches is chunky and wet ...most of them are, anyway. Might be one flavor that's not.

I haven't tried any others recently, but I'm sure other suggestions will follow

Thanks guys
I'll have to look at the pet food store that I've been going to to see if they've got some of those, since I've only ever noticed Eagle Pack, Felidae and Wellness. I'm hoping to find something that comes in the larger cans (13.3 oz) since I'm going to have 3-4 cats eating it. They've not the biggest fish fans either, they seem to prefer chicken over tuna/ocean fish/etc (crazy kittens they are, I swear) so I think the universe is working against me here lol

Sharky - do you know if there's anything like a gravy or sauce that you can purchase by the can (or pouch or anything like that) that's healthy and can be added to food? I think the cats might just like the fact that the chunky food has a nice thick gravy, and that would be an easy way to fix my problem without changing their foods

Merrick is chunky, but the texture isn't always consistant (in my experience, in my little town). Most of the time it's like it's supposed to be chunky with gravy, but the gravy is more like jello (somethings tough enough that the food still has to be separated with a fork or something). Other times the same formula will have lots and lots of gravy, which is heaven for my girls, lol

I haven't experienced this with Merrick's. I love it in fact. I find Thanksgiving Day Dinner not as "saucy" as Granny's Pot Pie. The pieces are varied sizes but not unmanageable at all. They'll eat the Cowboy Cookout once in awhile but prefer the former 2. I only find the gravy "jello-like" if the good is cold.

If I've had 1/2 a can in the refrigerator and it's cold, I generally add about 2 tbsp. hot water to warm it up which also makes nice gravy for the kitties.

My cats also like the Thanksgiving Day Dinner from Merrick. Another good Merrick flavor is Turducken (turkey, duck and chicken) but it's been difficult to find recently. I found four cans today and bought all of them.
They liked Cowboy Cookout at first but have been rejecting it the last two weeks or so. Finicky kitties.

I'll have to go looking for some Merricks I guess. I'm not sure if I'll be able to find any around here, but I suppose I could always order some online. If I can find a website that can ship to Canada for a decent price

Thanks everyone for the replies
