A 1965 SeaQueen Cobia boat. Yep we traded our 1993 van for it. The inside needs to be restored and it needs a motor (outboard) but we will get that in due time. We are hoping to have it done by sometime this summer. We took a few before pictures. I'll upload them in a bit. Right now we are cleaning the outside than we will strip the inside.

Ok here are some pictures. The first pictures are before we washed and gutted it. The after pictures are just after it was gutted and washed. We pulled the old caption and co-caption chairs. We will be replacing those. The benches in the cubby space are still good they just need to be cleaned and painted (we are thinking a darker blue). For the flooring we are gonna get some 3/4 plywood glass it and put that in. The transom (I think thats the name) needs to be repaired. We should be able to get the motor sometime around April or May. Other than that it is a good sturdy boat. I think it is a 17 ft boat.

And this makes me happy. Hubby will let me name the boat. And the name I decided on is the SS Rebel Rose. Thats a name I have gone by on the net for like 4 yrs or so. So that will be her name.

Very cool!

I just wanted to tell you, different topic though, that every time I see my Mia (tortie) and I sorta tap her on the tip of her nose, I say 'ping!' and I remember this sweet photo of Ping in your siggy.
