No Fair!!!

B just called me. His place of work was closed Monday and Tuesday because there wasn't any heat. The company is closed AGAIN and probably for the rest of the week because a pipe has burst.

So he gets a week off with pay and nothing against his vacation time.

I want a free week off too!!

Hey mee too! BN tried to tell me that he only works mon-thurs at his new job. yeah right. He wishes!

Sheesh! When the heat's been out at my work we bundle up with space heaters! But then the last time it wasn't during this awful cold spell!

I was home today for the same reason
sometimes a space heater just isn't enough!

you could have a operation of some type.

He was telling me last night that they didn't discover the burst pipe until Tuesday evening...I guess the head director was trying to save money so at 5:00 pm every Friday he shuts off the heat. Doesn't turn it down...just shuts it off completely.

So with the super cold weekend this week, boom! went a pipe...and they didn't realise it until Tuesday. He figures that since the head director is cutting expenses, they probably won't pay for overtime, so depending on when they can get the guys out there and find the point where it burst, then the issue can get fixed.

Aaaa...but they would take out my vacation time for that. Hmmm...I do have access to an axe and the main power is down the hall from me....

Yes I do! I've been meaning to call in sick all this week, but I have vendors with appointments. Plus I hate to say it but I don't want to be home when B is home...I want TOTAL break. I would wind up running all the errands while he just gets to sit home and play video games. I don't want to run errands on my day off.
