Well, it was bound to happen........had my dental appt today for a cleaning and they did exrays and found my first cavity. Very small, but the dentist wants to take care of it now before it gets to be a problem.......yuck!

That's pretty good that you never have had a cavity!!
The filling should go easy!!

That's amazing. You must be one good toothbrusher! If its tiny, it shouldn't be a problem getting it taken care of. (Although all the dentist has to do is look twice in my mouth and I get nervous. I don't even like going for a cleaning
)

The funny thing is, since I have my phobia of doctors or anything medical, I hadn't gone for most of my adult life to any dentist! Once as a kid that I remember. When I turned 40, I made myself face my fears and started going to doctors, dentists, etc. I've gotten pretty at ease going for the cleanings, and always knew that sometime I'd have to have something done........looks like it's here!

That is amazing!!! Well done on having such good teeth!

I'm sure the filling won't be too bad as it's small. These days the dentist give you cds to listen to and mine takes little photos before and after and lets me see.

I'm in the same boat Susie, hate the dentist etc.
Never bothered with dental appt. for pretty much my whole life.

Also only one cavity here and it was small, and taken care of quite quickly.
Grats on your healthy chompers.

One isn't that bad... you'll just need to take some Advil once it's all over. The last time I went I had seven done at once. That was a bit much to take.

that's pretty good Susie! I've had a lot of cavities, I think I have very soft teeth though. I made the dentist give me 3 shots of novacaine once for one little cavity
I didn't feel a thing! for hours!!

I hate going to the dentist too, I've been putting off getting a root canal. I'm a big wuss and scared of the local anesthetic.
