To work, or not to work, that's the question

I'm trying to decide whether or not to go into work today. With the 6" of snow we yesterday afternoon and evening, the roads are better today, but they're saying on the news that there's still a lot of slick spots.

So, what do you think? Should I wait until after rush hour and make the drive, work from home, or just take vacation day and just bum around the house. Not exactly a tough decision is it? Fortunately, my job is very flexible and my boss (who may take the day off herself since her kids have a snow day) will be fine with whatever I decide.

So, what do you guys think I should do? Being a workaholic, I need some encouragement to take the day off!

For me it would be work from home, or a vacation day, and then that would depemd on how many vacation days I had and my plans for them. Going in would not be an option.

Don't you have snow to shovel? we got snow today, but not much, but since I own the house I have to shovel the sidewalk, my driveway, clear my car, and the steps to the upstaris apartment. Then go in. UGGHHHH

Call out, feed the kitties (like you haven't already) then curl back up in the nice warm bed and relax!

I like how you guys think!

I've got a week more than a week of vacation that I have to use before May 1 and no big plans, so that's not an issue.

Don't even have to shovel because my neighbor brought his snowblower over last night and did it for us.

So, I really could just stay home and curl up with the kitties. I'm just about convinced that's the way to go.

If it's any consolation, I'd normally be out there doing it myself and we have a looooong driveway.

With me being a snow girl I would go to work-it could be quiet and you could get lots done!!

I'd make fun of you if you went into work!

gail - shame on you for encouraging someone to go to work instead of staying home with the kitties!

Left a message for my boss a little bit ago saying I wouldn't be in. I'm looking forward to day of doing nothing!
