Could it have been Osteosarcoma? There are several different kinds of Cancer that are Osteo- But like I said Tammy let them do what they need to before accepting anything as a given

Tammy, I am thinking of you and your daughter - and hope you tell us as soon as you know anything from the MRI! I hope tonight you can get some comfort from your other skinkids and furkids.

Love, Kim

Well, that looks encouraging. I don't suppose there's any chance the lump is a Baker's Cyst?

Honey, all my heartfelt prayers are with you. I have a daughter two years older than yours, and she and I have been through some very serious situations. God gave us the strength we needed then, and He will be with you now. Many hugs and be strong vibes to you and your whole family.

Just want you to know I am still thinking of you and your daughter Tammy.

Like other people here have said, just wait until you find out what it is, and then go from there.

Sending you lots of love and hugs and prayers.

Please be sure to let us know something when you find out something.

Love,

Tammy, many years ago -- like about 40 -- the son of a friend of my Mum's had a tumour in his femur (thigh bone). He was 11 or 12 at the time. He had a couple of surgeries, and I'm not sure what other treatments. But it was successful and he's fine today, all limbs intact. That was 40 years ago, and there have been advances in treatments. To be sure, you don't treat this lightly, but please don't fight the shadows. And please don't do any more searching on the Internet for now -- at least until you do know what you are up against. Soon you'll have real information, a proper diagnosis, and then you'll know what you're dealing with. Until then, hug lots, pray lots, laugh lots. We'll be doing the same all over the world, and it will be fine.
No, you're not going to snap your fingers and it will all be behind you, but you will have the strength, and we'll be here with you.
