About the only way to get a decent picture of a black cat is with natural lighting. A flash just seems to make a mess, no matter what flash angles or flash defusers I use. And the only time that Mischief sits in the window is when he watches the birds, and he's just too hyper for good pictures (he likes his birds).
But this morning, he was in the window, calm as you please, just watching the birds with a "laid back" attitude. So, I grabbed the camera and shot a few frames
"Hey...whatcha doin' with the camera?"
Then the Hobo hopped onto the shelf behind me, and Mischief had to check that out...
He even let me change angles without getting excited...
But then...he spotted the lens cap dangling from the camera...prey drive kicks in....and it was ON...photo session over
