Yes, he is a big kitty. But NOT overweight. Just big. And very well groomed, and very happy, except for the times that I am not paying him undivided attention.
Yup - he's a lucky cat. I think I'm trying to make up for the fact that he was given up for adoption by his family when he was 5, and spent three months at a kennel waiting for a new family. He was so depressed, he wouldn't even leave the cage. So now he deserves a fancy new home.
Besides, when I was young I always wanted a big doll house - so I think I'm compensating. When I start installing furniture and chandeliers, that's time to worry.
I'm thinking of buying him an electric train set next. (did I mention that I bought him an aquarium?)
Yes I did. I had a 10 gal. tank, and bought a filter, a heater, a thermometer, gravel, water testing chemicals, and six fish. And is he grateful? Not a word of thanks! That's why I had to get him the new townhouse - to give him a better view of his fish tank.
Alf and Ronnie are well jealous. They used to be quite happy with cardboard boxes - but now? Oh no! They want the penthouse, rather than the pavement (Heaven 17 reference for all those UK 80's kids logged on)
