It has now been 2 weeks since we made the decision to adopt little Turbo. He has got to be the funniest, furriest little guy that we have ever owned, and man is he a lover. He loves to curl up at night under my hair and suckle on either my neck or my earlobes. I really don't mind it too much, but I certainly do not appreciate it at 4am, which is his favorite time of day to do this. I also don't really want to encourage this behavior since it is cute when he is only 2 pounds not so cute when he becomes 12 pounds! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to break him of this habit-like I said I don't mind the snuggles, but not the suckling-not gonna get any milk from this mom! Turbo is only 9 weeks old, but I have never had a cat do this before, how do I get him to cuddle but keep his mouth closed. It is kinda hard to explain that the "hickie" came from my kitten and not my husband! Is this something that he will eventually grow out of or continue his whole life. Could it be that since he was a foster kitten he has bonded more with people than acting like a cat??? Does anyone else's cats do this and what do you do to deal with it??
