I wanted to update this thread and thank everyone that gave their well wishes and suggestions.

I switched Reilly's food last week to Nutro Max (from Merricks) and now he has now been diarreha free for a week

Thank you everyone!!

Miss Mew....
I'm glad that Reilly is feeling better. Allergies are funny things and the way that they develop is sometimes hard to understand. From what little I know when our *or our cats* have an allergic reaction to something it is a result of our bodies having had all that it can stand of something. In this case it looks like the soft food that he was eating. We had the same problem with two of our cats having sporatic cases of diarrhea. From what they experienced, it was the corn......or grain in the food. I will say that we only feed dry food and switched to Innova EVO over a year ago. We haven't had the problem since. We do, however feed some soft food *about once a week* for a treat and it hasn't shown any problems with the cats. Occasional diarrhea can be so frustrating. We tried the "Health Food Store" route with acidophilus powder sprinkled on their foods........which can't hurt them........but in our case didn't do away with the diarrhea either. Once again, I'm glad that your handsome boy is feeling better.
