Ok so I went outside to smoke about 30 mins ago and Jake went with me as usual. I was just about to come back in the house when I heard the latch on the gate jingle. I stepped back and the gate was open...

I called Jake and as I looked towards the mailbox I seen him bolting down the driveway!
The sneak knows how to open the gate!

I quickly grabbed his leash hanging inside the front door and took off after him..We ended up 2 blocks over (me in my garfield pajama's and new slippers). I clipped his leash on and headed home... I'm out of breath, cold, and tired now..
Now I have to buy some clips for all three gates in the yard tomorrow because I'm POSITIVE he'll do it again.

What a booger!!!!!

He sure did!
Considering his breed of a hunting dog (Vizsla but we don't use him for hunting.) he must have caught the scent of something good!
He knew he was in trouble too... as soon as we came back home, he went straight to bed... MY bed

Yeap! Now I gotta go fight him for my body pillow in a few mins.
Jake is NOT the easiest to sleep with.. He snore and kicks more then Reggie does

I know what you mean!! Uhh Fosters hogs the ENTIRE bed- he's worse than me
Usually i'm the one stealing covers, hoging pillows and kicking people off the bed- lol but Fosters is taking after his momma
And now that we have the two new dogs here right now (brownie and digger- names will soon be changed if we wind up keeping them!) it's a nightmare trying to get in the bed
At least there's one good thing to Colin temporarily working midnights- the pups and i get the bed
lol...take it easy on Jake- hehe - he was just making sure his mommy got her cardio in for the day
