Hey everybody! My name is Michelle and I have a beautiful black cat, Van Gogh, or as she is at times known around our house, Spring. Big difference I know, but my 5 year old was for some reason fixed on the name "Spring" when we got her. Van Gogh is a very special kitty to us, I worked at a veterinarian's office a couple of years ago and one morning a man brought her into the clinic. He said he was a construction worker and had found her under a house he was working on, she was skin and bones, severely dehydrated, had a half an ear missing, and was so sick she could hardly move. We nursed her back to health until she was well. She was a "live in" resident at the clinic for the next few months. I decided she was extremely too affectionate to be kept in a kennel all the time, she had been tortured before and deserved better. She is now a fat house cat that loves attention, she is slightly brain damaged due to her sad ordeal but she is very sweet and quite special! She can at times have a testy attitude with the dog, but of course I think we all can with the men!
We are both very glad to be members of TCS, hope to see you around!
