Hi all,

I'm in a design class, and my final project is to design the best cat litter box, since I'm a cat lover. I need everybody's help to give me some inputs regarding what would be the 'perfect' criteria for cat litter box.
Any input will be appreciated!!

Thank you.

One of the "complaints" I hear alot is those who have dogs about the size of the cats - the need to have a box where the dogs can't get into but the cats can - solve that problem, and you'd be a millionaire!

My cats would like one that is low in the front so that it is easy to step into (especially as they age), but high in the back so that when Odo pees standing up, he doesn't end up peeing outside the box.

Cost-free to maintain- i.e. no cat litter to buy, no trays to buy, nothing to replace, and never breaks. lol, or at least cheaper than these darn trays for the scoop free. Ugh. All this proprietary stuff is annoying (you get a litter box but it only works with their trays).

Now, is that so unrealistic?
