I understand that we get 5 points for every post, but sometimes I get 7?? Is there some reason for that?

I think you get more in different forums, or less, in Fur Pictures you only get 1
If you look at the bottom of each forum, it will tell you how many points you get for posting.
In the furpics forum, you only get 1 point
In most other forums you get 5 per post
In the health related forums at the top of the page you get 7
If you are a subscriber and post in the main Premier Lounge, you get 10 points per post
