You're The One That I Want!

Who watches this! We have lots of threads about football games (boring) and other reality shows, but i've never seen one about this show!

It was an open casting call, similar to American Idol, but they are looking for the triple threat here! The unknowns to play Sandy and Danny in a new Broadway production of Grease. I love that musical - and have been watching the show. They've narrowed it down now to the ones that the public TV audience will vote on!

Am I the only one, or does anyone else watch this show?

I caught the episode with the final 12. I'm not sure which girl I like, but I like the self-proclaimed slacker and the first guy that sang.

I'm excited about Andrew Lloyd Webber being on the next show! He's an icon to me.

Yes - Andrew Lloyd Webber is amazing! Olivia Newton John has been on a couple of the shows, and it's been great. I have my favourite already for Sandy - Ashley Spencer (?), whom I think has an amazing career ahead of her! Danny I'm torn between a couple of the guys.

I thought I was the only person in the WORLD watching that show! I love the musical soooo much and cannot wait until the Broadway show happens! I looooove Ashley S's voice! She is definately my favorite girl. And I like Kate too. For the boys, they are all so good but I have a little crush on Jason

Yaay - another Grease fan! My son got me the DVD for Christmas - 25th anniversary edition done up in a little black leather jacket. So cute!

I watched it the other night, but that was the first time that I saw it.

I've been watching, too. My co-worker's fiancee tried out for the role of Frenchie (the roles other than Danny and Sandy are being cast the old-fashioned way) and is waiting for a call-back. And one of the Dannys, "busboy Danny", was her roommate. So, I'm pulling for him, and her.

Wow - I'm impressed! Frenchie is a great role - I hope she gets it! And busboy Danny is great!
