I do! My favorites are "Are You Being Served" and also Red Dwarf and The Thin Blue Line...
I also REALLY love Doctor Who (ok not really a comedy but it has its funny parts, especially the new series!)

Oops I almost forgot my most favorite comedy of all-- Monty Python's Flying Circus! Love it... I have em all on DVD too

I love watching them too, Especially Fawlty Towers and Keeping Up Appearances. Poor Richard. One sure does feel sorry for him being married to Hyacinth. Oh and their neighbours........

Brian is in the other room right now watching the first season of Extras on DVD. It's by the same guys that did the Office. Its really quite hilarious.

One of my favorite spoof films ever is Shaun of the Dead too. Great British dark comedy.

I love British comedies! I have to see them over and over, because the first time I understand only about half of the dialogue! I really have a hard time with the accent, especially if they are talking quickly and using British terms like "bangers and mash."

Cheers, from

Yeah, right now it's currently shown on the Sundance Channel. It's so funny...like I said, it's not British, but Australian. Apparently, it's a huge smash down under, and I can see why! Hilarious!

Yep, its popular here in New Zealand as well. Thats why I am surprised its available in the US. I wish it was shown when I was living there!

Red Dwarf is by far my fave brit comedy right now. I love the whole cast and they keep me laughing the whole time. My friend has all seasons on DVD and whenever we get upset for some reason he always throws an episode in and we are happy again. I will always find something during my day that reminds me of the show and I end up quoting it a lot.

I will be honest I haven't watched too many Brit comedies... but as I read this thread I am writing down the names to see if I can find them on tv to see what they are like. Because if Red Dwarf and Are You Being Served (watched that one a while ago... what a hoot!) are this good, the rest must be!

They seem to have an amazing sense of humour, don't they? I haven't heard anyone mention Mr Bean yet. It's pretty funny too, although I don't think it's nearly as funny as some of the others.

It is. A woman is sent to be the vicar of a village church and she is not what they expected of a vicar!

Yeah, it's a cute show. I like the vicar's really silly blonde friend too...she's so cute and dorky!

I'm assuming from this that they expected your typical male vicar?
