Do we want that rodent to see his shadow or not??? I always forget....

Well, the snow is gone, and no freezing temps overnite so we had no bad roads. Back in the hole as KittenKiya says....

Never heard of today's holiday, but I like the picture...

Good morning everyone, coffee is ready

Getting ready for an early start to the day, still freezing here though

Our weekend off together got cancelled with an 'emergency job' and my boss is being a meanie and won't let me have Monday off so we can still have 'a weekend' so channel lots of vibes towards him to become a human for once and let me have a day off (otherwise I may have to get the flu over the weekend )

Oh and I got this in an email, seemingly we have to suffer through evil winters because of the cable companies

Ack i've just posted in the other thread! I'll copy and paste it

Forget about putting the coffee on today as well because i need something stronger I'm having new windows installed right now and the noise is terrible and the girls are scared Poor Sophie just wants to be held all the time and buries her head in the crook of my arm

The worse part should be over soon though

The pesky rodent apparently zoomed into north Texas yesterday, snow and stuff. Still not sure if there's ice waiting for me out there this morning.

Groundhog day is a great anniversay for me. Feb 2, 1992 is the day I left a soul-killing job I had been on for nearly 18 years. I'm still alive to prove it!

Be careful out there, everyone!

Spring should start, like..... today. I'm tired of this cold.

I am debating going back to bed or going to the rescue.. though I know the anwser. Wish I could go back to bed. Wish I could sleep, sounds even better.
Don't think I have anything else to do today other than the rescue this morning, other than things at home.

Hey everyone!

I'm off sick today Got sent home yesterday even though I was tying my very best to stay! It's the Christmas do today at my new work and I've had to miss it with being so poorly It was in a posh restaurant too

Just spending my day trying to get better and sleeping! Annie is trying her very best to distract me by leaping around the lounge though!

No way the groundhog can see his shadow today - it's cloudy! Here's to an early spring!

Didn't get much snow - - so I will be venturing out this afternoon to run errands.

The sun is out here today, but it is still cold... but YAY for an early Spring

The Wisconsin groundhog saw his shadow (jimmy the groundhog) so more winter for us!
Not alot going on-have to carry up lots of firewood and re-fill the birdfeeder.
Visiting my SIL later today.

its friday!!! i heard on the radio this morning that the groundhog didnt see his shadow and the radio guy said that means that spring is coming!!! but our winter was odd so it feels like its been spring already, lol. well happy friday everyone!!!

Today is the only day in the USA that honors a four footed furry friend. Guess it would be too much to ask for a cat day so I will settle for a groundhog day. Canadian money gets to have a beaver but what other countries honor any kind of animal? Happy Groundhog Day!

Forgot it was groundhog day today! Well, Nat said he didn't see his shadow in this part of the world, so an early spring this year! I guess that means April instead of May!
