Poor Bella should I give her a bath ?

Bella got dressed (Spayed) last Wednesday, I took her back to the vets on Tuesday as she was scratching her ears and she has ear mites, the vet cleaned her ears and gave me Advocate capsule (the one you squeeze on the back of neck) and Canaural ear drops 5 drops each ear twice a day, the problem is she now looks so awful, her fur is very greasy, all around her head and neck, I have been trying to blot it with kitchen roll but it's not making any difference, she is back at the vet's tomorrow to get her stitches out and I am going to ask them to look at her ears again, I finish using the Canaural on Monday night and I was wondering could/should I bath her afterwards to return her to her former splender ? She likes water but has never had a bath, but she doesn't seem to be grooming herself as she usually does, maybe it has a strange taste ? she looks very bedragled and unkempt at the moment, I have been brushing her but I can't tell if it is helping or not.

I would talk to the vet tomorrow and if he says it's ok I would do it. I know if one of my cats gets into something I always take a warm wash cloth and spot clean the area. They don't like water so I don't bathe them.

Thanks, being a new cat owner reminds me of being a new parent, every thing is new and unknown, I love this site as everyone shares their knowledge of cats, you wouldn't belive 5 months ago I was a firm disliker of cats. Since my daughter blackmailed me into getting a kitten I have became a turncoat I love her to bits, she is the main topic of conversation and has everyone in the household under her thumb, even the budgie who she occasionaly gives the evil eye, why did I not know they were such good company years ago ?
