I'm normally really bad at these games, but I got 80% this time and I didn't cheat.
Let's see who's a genius when it comes to the US of A..

I have played that game before, and I didn't do too well on it, I am kinda directionally challenged.

I got 96 %, but it should have been higher. I was just off by a cm on Montana and it marked me wrong.

I knew where they all were but if your off by an tiny bit they mark it wrong

I got 96% with a 5 mile error rate. I was REALLY good at geography in school. It gave me Tennessee first and I mislocated it by about 120 miles, then made up the error rate as I got the rest of them.

Just don't count those ones as wrong.

I got 84% - I'm good with that!

I just got 88% this time around. I think I'm good enough to become an honourary American.

They ought to give you some slack with placing the states all by themselves in the middle of the country! I mean come on! I would have done better if I could have picked the states in the order I wanted. I got 86% the first time and 88% the second. Mainly because the second time I had more midwestern states right off.

Does anyone else find looking at a map of the US without the lines kinda odd?

76%%% NOT BAD.. NOT BAD AT ALL..

Well it is,, since my job is mostly geographic..

I got 78% and I'm thrilled! I never had USA geography, thanks to a really bad substitute teacher in the 4th grade (and some really bad kids who made class a joke ) and so I bought myself one of those state puzzles (the wooden ones? For little kids? ) and I'm learning ! (I'm also really, really bad at geography... )

Got 90% - mainly because I got careless with Missouri.

That was fun! I got 88% with a 22 mile average error.

I didn't get that score, but same thing happened with me. Plus I'm using the mousepad on my laptop so I "dropped" the state a couple of times and it marked me wrong on that.

so my result was 84%

I kept dropping the states, so only ended up with 58%, but I probably dropped about 15 that it didn't give me credit for.

82% average error 31 miles, and I know diddley about the East coast

Ooh what a fun game, and i live on the other side of the world!

i got 26 out of 50!!!! (helps when the bigger pieces match the edges lol)

I got 66% but i am canadian

Slowly getting better at this--just got 92%.

If we aren't counting the ones that were barely off and got counted wrong (like Alaska, which I did too fast and didn't line up perfectly) I missed 1- Iowa, which I put somewhere halfway into Nebraska. If we count the near-misses, I got a 90% with a 13 mi avg error.

I think it depends a lot on what you get first, since Texas, Florida, and Maine would be really easy if you get them first but Wyoming, Tennesse, and South Dakota are much harder to place perfectly without any other states nearby.

The state capitols one is even harder, since it's just as picky about how close you are but they're cities. I got Columbus wrong and I live here!
