See's Chocolates are very good! Walnut squares, mayfairs, toffette, and lemon truffles are some of my favorites. Mmmm, now I can't wait for Valentines Day!

Cadbury eggs are in stores now (at least they are in the Brooks pharmacies around here) They are too sweet for me, but the cadbury mini eggs are also out (I've already had 2 packages--the real small packages
). Also Dove truffle eggs should be out soon. They are my favorite and can be found in Walmart, Target, etc. Don't know why they only have these really yummy things at Easter, but I guess I should be glad weightwise.

Heather, how dare you start a chocolate thread without me!
After all, I am the self appointed president of the TCS chapter of the SPCC - Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Chocolate (and other goodies starting with "C").

I will give just about any chocolate a chance. I prefer milk but there have been some dark chocolate items that were yummy. Off the shelf at the store I like Symphony bars, and WalMart has these Sweet Enticements Bon Bons that I am addicted to. (They are chocolate covered wafer shells with different fillings. Year round you can get the peanut butter ones, but at holidays they have ones filled with a heavenly chocolate center.) Love Lindt truffles and lots of others.

We have a local chocolate making family named Lib's and two cousins currently have stores. Mike is my fave (Steven is the other) and knows I love their mocha nut balls. But I adore their mello milk chocolate. Little squares of melt in your mouth milk chocolate.
The popular candy is the pecan flipover (aka turtles). Ask goosehazel about those.

Last night when this thread started, Mom and I were shopping and replenished our chocolate supplies. I have Symphony bars and chocolate covered honeybuns and chocolate wafer cookies. If that is gone before I can get to the store, I will have to raid Mom's Butterfinger stash.

Arrgghhhhh it's taking all my willpower not to go downstairs and have the delicious Scharffen Berger chocolate pancakes for breakfast!!!!!!

Oh, I'm going to make some spiked hot chocolate tonight. I love it will a little bit of brandy in it.

:weep: I miss my Belgian pen pals!!!!

They use to send Belgian chocolates to me. Leonidas (which there are few here in the U.S., but they're REALLY sweet -ew) and Bouchee.

Bouchees are like heaven in your mouth. I happened to find a bunch at a local TJ Maxx..and haven't seen them since. I think I ate the entire box that afternoon.
