This thread is devoted to all things chocolate! I've noticed how we talked about chocolate for time on end, but there has never been a good thread about our favorite kinds, where we go to get them, and how to share them. I'll start off!

I have a new favorite chocolate bar: http://www.dagobachocolate.com/shop/...5&cat=9&page=1
I think I'm going to have to work out a way to incorporate it into a new cookie I'm trying to make. We shall see, but I'll let everyone here know how it turns out.

So everyone share your favorite chocolate, and if possible add a link or the name of the store where you get it!

Has anyone seen the Altoid Dark chocolate dipped mints? Oh Heavenly!
There are truffles too but I can't remember the name of them but there are 6 or 8 of them in a metal box and they come in milk and dark chocolate and they are YUMMY! Yes I have to try EVERYTHING that comes out that that is chocolate and new. I'm such a sucker for chocolate, especially dark chocolate.

Oh yeah I usually find my new chocolate things at Target or Walmart.

Lindt Truffles!
You can get them anywhere- WalMart/Taget has them, but if you have the chance- you have to go to the Lindt Outlets, it smells soooo good in there!

I love Dagoba's dark chocolate Roseberry bar (rosehips and raspberries), and their lavender/blueberry bar. I get mine from Marlene's, a local small chain of organic/all-natural health foods and more store.

For chocolate covered nuts, nothing matches Emily's Dark (not their new milk chocolate covered ones) Chocolate Macadamia Nuts (go directly to their factory store here).

For handmade truffles, my current favorite is Woodhouse Chocolates - http://www.woodhousechocolate.com/ the dark chocolate collection, of course

Oh yummy...
I love chocolate malt balls. Oh goodness. I love most chocolate covered things, chocolate covered pretzels, nuts and mints. Oh those Lindt balls with molten chocolate in the center are to DIE FOR! I HATE white chocolate, but those white chocolate Lindt balls I actually like. I also like those Ferraro Rochet (sp?) chocolates. Mmm...

I love andes mints, any candy bar really, especially three musketeers, caramel crunch bars, butterfinger crisps, I LOVE chocolate caramel cups you can get at walmart!
instead of having peanut butter in them, they have caramel in them and toffifay is my favorite.
I love chocolate, what can I say? I love riesens, chocolate covered raisans, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate ice cream.. and you have to try chocolate fudge brownie cappichinos! I got one at the gas station the other day and it was so flippin' good!
and I also love the double chocolate chunk rice krispie treats!
*sigh* I love ANYTHING chocolate, except I am not big on white chocolate.

I have a friedn in Germany, the foreign exchange student from high school. She periodically ships me tons of chocolate-straight from Germany! That is the best chocolate....those members on here from Germany don't realize how blessed they are with German chocolate!!

I like those chocolate-covered dried cherries, blueberries, or apricots, has anyone else had those? I used to like chocolate-covered coffee beans... mmm, but I don't drink coffee anymore so I'd probably be buzzing for hours if I ate those. Also, anything Lindt is very good!

There's a local company here called Roger's Chocolates that makes Victoria Creams that are great!

Cheers, from

Ohhhh I had a Dagoba chocolate bar the other weekend and it was DEVINE!!!! Very yummo!

I also discovered Scharffen Berger chocolate recently - they have them at work. The chefs are even making Scharffen Berger pancakes this week which are just to die for!!! John Scharffenberger (the guy who made them) had a chocolate reception at one of the cafes at work late this afternoon, then was having a wine and chocolate do for dinner tonight. I wasn't able to make either which was a shame, but gees it would have been good - I'm addicted to those choccies!!

I also love Lindt chocolate. It has to be room temperature so it melts in your mouth

This thread made me go and search out my last Hanuta from my last online chocolate order. Its a wafer cookie with chocolate and hazelnut filling.

I also love these Ritter Sport bars with yogurt filling.

As far as chocolate that can be bought locally, I crave the Smores bars that Hershey makes.

I also love a good pecan cluster from any local sweet shop.

And who can resist those wonderful Cadbury eggs that you only see once a year???

Colins favorite is just a good old Snickers bar

I will say though- the absolute best chocolate i have EVER had - one of my friends gave to me after she came back from a family vacation in France. I have no idea what it was called- but it was sooo yummy!! It had a blue and white wrapper if i remember right-but it's been several years. It was absolutely deliscious though!

All of the European stuff, particularly Lindt is very fine. But for my money, the very best chocolate comes from here. It's awesome.

For my favorite chocolate bar, it's Coffee Crisp. I've loved those things since forever. Now recently became available in the US.

But I'm not picky on chocolates. I love it too much. Just gimme gimme!!
