Ok i bought the stuff today to plug in the living room (the main area the cats hang out in) how long before we notice a difference in the cats? Kirra is alot more accepting of Twilight(the 3 month old male we adopted) but we are hoping this helps more. I have read so much positive response on this stuff from yawl i had to try it.

I actually started running the plug-ins a whole week before I brought Ferris home from foster care, so I honestly don't know how long it takes before you see a difference.

For some people's cats, the plugins worked great, for others the plugins did nothing but the spray worked great.

I'd say just keep an eye on them, is all, and keep us posted!

well so far it seems to be helping some, kirra is able to be in the same room with twilight without growling at him, she seems less tense, i have even caught her tring to sneak up on him to smell him lol. we shall see how it goes, i mean they started out well since they slept in our bed last night (just on opposite ends).

Does this really work? I am thinking about getting some tonight so that when Twig is introduced to Neffie it's not to stressing. I am thinking about getting one for the living/dinningroom and one for the room Neffie "lives" in and one for the bedroom. Does it have an odor?

I don't know about the spray, but I can sure vouch for the Feliway Comfort Zone diffusers. With six cats in the house, the diffuser is the only way we can keep the peace!

It's not perfect, of course -- multiple cats will always have their spats. But with the diffusers in place, they are far less frequent and far less intense. We can tell the difference immediately when our diffuser runs out!

So I highly recommend Comfort Zone -- BUT DON'T BUY IT IN A STORE. Our Petco charges $45 for the diffuser itself (which comes filled) and $28 for a single refill. Someone here on the site recommended a Kansas company called valleyvet.com, and we should be receiving our first order tomorrow: a diffuser with fill, plus three refills, all for $68. Free shipping, too!

I was concerned about this, too; my family calls me "super snoot."
The spray smells like plastic for a few seconds, then it's gone.

It helps them relax and feel comfortable, but if there's an underlying issue, Feliway probably won't help.
