Question about Smilies

I like to have the 'view more' smilies window open while I'm posting sometimes and I just recently noticed that now the box disappears after I reply, if that makes sense. Whereas before I could just leave that window open at all times. Is there a way to change this back? I hate to have to open the window every time I post and have to wait for all the smilies to load every time

i noticed that quite some time ago. i usually use the same smilies over & over, so i've memorized the text for them & just type them in, like this :heart3 : without the space i left its this

but occasionally i have to look up one i don't use all the time...
