I would definitely say hi - I've been known to start up conversations with strangers on the streets of downtown Toronto. My brother was visiting from Missouri and we were doing the tourist thing in Toronto. I was walking along talking to this man and after we parted ways, my brother said it was amazing that you could meet someone you know in such a big city. I told him I never met the man before and my bro was astounded. But then a bus stopped in front of the hotel where we were and my neighbour's mom got off (she was on a senior's day trip) so we chatted a bit and my bro really couldn't believe that one.

So yes, I would definitely say hello.

Well I would say ' hi ' but I dont think I´m gonna see any of you folks soon............unless you have a TCS meet in Madrid or Barcelona (oooo nice !)

I´m just having vision of someone in a queue at a pet store and this really weird conversation going on

That's how I feel Plus again, not many people around here would probably know what TCS is "Is that some sort of disease?". It's a sickness, yes

Now that I think of it, I don't think I'd recognize anyone from here, and I'm fairly certain there are no active people from my area anyway. My state yes, but not my area.

I probably would say something. There are no TCS members right in my area though, so it is unlikely it would ever happen. I also haven't been keeping up with the pictures thread

I know there are at least a couple of others on here that are from Western PA, but since I have no clue what they look like I'd feel like an idiot going up to someone and saying "Excuse me, I don't REALLY know you but I sort of do I think..do you post on a board called TCS?"

They'd probably pull out their cell phone and call 911.

The only way I would say hello, is if I knew for sure that the person was from TCS. But since I don't know what most of us look like, that would hardly be unlikely. However, if a conversation about cats came up, I may mention TCS. I have done this before, but the person I spoke with wasn't on here. However, since I mentioned the site, they could be now

There are a few people I could run into, especially when in Toronto an if I was 90% sure it was them, I would say hi.

I once seen someone who looked like Tracy at work and ran back to my office to see if Tracy was online before thinking about going back to say hi lucky I checked, but she did look exactly like her!
