I was spoiled for the longest time by our company spam filter; never a single one. Then those stupid gif emails started up and they had a problem with getting those. It is getting better. What cracks me up is that the filter now marks some IT emails as spam.
same here, but then we generally agree with the filter!

Spam stinks. I NEVER give out two of the four e-mail addresses I have unless its a real person I know. I have one email address I use to "register" with sites (not this one, of course) that never gets checked. It's real, and it's mine... and it's ALL spam.
Meh. Phishing really worries me though cause my mom almost falls for it every time.

This popped up in a meeting last week. Basically I had "trained" our email filter so well that it was catching ALL the spam. A few legit emails would get caught, but I would just have to go in there a couple times a day and release them.
Last week in a managers meeting, I found out that the sales people were concerned that they weren't getting emails because no one was getting spammed anymore
So instead of a congratulations...they asked me to start letting some spam through.I don't care...actually I'm letting it all through. Many said that they would rather sift through a bunch of spam to find legit emails rather than to "miss" anything.

I am the queen of the "Anti-spam" movement. I have separate accounts for many of the websites I visit so that way if I get a spam e-mail - I can target exactly who it came from. Burns me to no end!!!! I've spent many a day and many hours trying to track down spam.

I hate spam too! Especially at work! I see a little envelope pop in the corner of my screen, and I'll be working on a high dollared spreadsheet in excel, and I save & minimize to check my email in case it's a lunch I have to order for the next day, and here it is "vacations america" wanting me to take a cruise somewhere!

Spam is a necessary evil. Not brave enough to spam. But I see it as a free speach deal. One forum poster once said it is all spam.
