We have had Malcolm here for 1 month already, and he is a 3 month old black kitten.

And here is our other cat, no idea what kind it is, or anything because I am not a cat conniseaur.. but she is four months old, and not enjoying being a new addition to the house.....

Don't know what to do, but its only been one day, so we are still being very patient....

Hi there
we're so happy to welcome you and your two lovely kitties to TCS. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay with us - we're one great big family and you'll find loads of friends here. If I can help at all while you're finding your way around TCS just click on my username and send me a Personal Message - I'll do what I can to answer your questions

Don't worry about posting those piccies here - you're right though, future ones can go into the Fur Pics lounge

Your new little girl has a lot of adjusting to do, she will need plenty of patience on your part and good slow introductions to Malcolm. Give her plenty of space and peace and quiet. I'm sure she will be just fine.

Welcome again, Denrin and Family!

Awww the little black one is ADORABLE and the silver tabby is such a beauty -- thank you so much for making space in your heart and home for multiple cats!
As you can see, we believe in multi-cat families here

Give them time, have patience, and give them lots of love and attention, and they should all come round to loving one another and being glad to be part of such a loving family. You may also want to visit the forum for new kitten/cat additions, and see what kind of tips there are there...good luck to you ALL!

OH yes - and you wanted to know how they are getting on. Well, Malcolm is a lot more calm and interested in Bailey. Bailey is much more scared but I think that is more or less because its a brand new environment for her. She is feeling much more comfortable with the two of us which is a step in the right direction. It is only day one and we are actually already allowing the two to see one another without being too close, but there has been a LITTLE hissing but mainly some stare downs which I figure is a good thing, and its mainly Bailey that is being the more aggressive, I assume she is just trying to assert her territory. Anyways, although it is a bit trying, I think its going well considering everything says we should expect 10 days of this, so I'm happy with the progress. I just really hope that Bailey comes around since Malcolm is just such a warm hearted accepting kitten.

I'm sure it will all work out well. Introducing cats as kittens is always easier, I think.
Cute photos. Take lots. They're so fun to look back on.

Dear Abymummy:

Just love your quote about the PURRRRRRRRRRRRR!
And while I won't adopt a "pedigreed" while there is one single homeless cat on the planet needing love and safety, I've spent some very happy and memorable times with two Aby kittens -- wow, what energy!
What charm!
