My cat willow went to through up this morning and her hair ball wouldn't come up. So everytime she would gag she would through up some kind of mucus looking white stuff. And she did that for about an hour not alot of spots though. And now she stop gagging and is just sitting in her litter box licking her lips doing nothing.

One possibility might be a urinary blockage. One of mine just went thru something this. He was throwing up foamy liquid in small patches all over the place. He was not able to urinate at all, so he would just squat and sit. We got him to the vets. I would certainly keep my eye on him, if he is not urinating at all or in places he shouldn't.

Please get her to the vet. It might be nothing serious, but you really shouldn't take that chance with your kitty. At the very least, call the vet and tell them what she's doing to see if they have any suggestions or think she should come in.

If its a female cat it probaby isnt a urinary blockage. That is rare in females. How is the rest of her behaviour? Is she eating/drinking/ using the litterbox? If not, she needs to get to the vet asap.

She hasn't eaten or drank anything because she's been laying in her litter box. now she's out on our porch.

When was the last time she pooped?

She's licking her lips because of the nausea. I suspect she could be sitting in the litter 'cause she wants to poop but possibly can't. That's very serious if that's the case.

Does she always lay in her litterbox? If not, that would concern me. Is there anything strange she could have gotten into and eaten?

She is so cute.. she reminds me of Zoey. If she is not acting herself it would probably be a good idea to make an appointment with the vet to have her checked out.

I agree about taking her to a vet, better safe than sorry.
The laying in the litter box is kind of worrying if she doesn't normally do that.
