Thats what I thought too, I'll have to talk to someone in the morning. I'm a bit dissapointed, I thought they were better than that.

I'm so glad everything went well! I know you miss him, and Harley does too (even if it is secretly!!). Sorry about the money issue, that sucks!! Let me know how things turn out!

that's the reason i'm no longer seeing the vet that did Java's spay. they quoted me a price, & altho they were told twice that she was in heat, they never told me there was an added $15 surcharge because of that until i went to pick her up
i could've rescheduled her spay if i had been told! i wrote a letter complaining, but got absolutely no response at all... so i never returned to that vet.

Awww....your sweet boy will soon be back in your loving arms.

I would definitely talk to the office manager or vet about a payment plan.
You were good enough to ask about it in advance and were told that it was possible.
I hope that last person gave you wrong info...
regardless, someone in charge needs to know.

I'm gonna be really mad if its not the same price that the lady told me my final will was today! If its even $1 more than what she told me, I'll be SO mad, I will seriously tell them I am seeking another vet

Well - I'm headed out the door in a few minutes to get my little guy- lets hope I can talk to someone at the front desk about that payment plan... or at least figure out why I was lied to!

Yea that does stink. The last vet I took Luna and Whitey to were really iffy when it came to the front desk. I.e. I was told I could bring in both at a time and when I got there they were like you brought both???

I switched vets shortly after that (I also wasn't impressed by the vets there either).

Sometimes too you get the vet techs that pick up the phone and they seem to know more about the office then the receptionist. Hopefully you get someone who can explain the payment plan to you!!!

Well, my baby is HOME!!
I had to pay the full $99 up front, I'm not happy about that, but all I care about is that he's HOME!
They said he was not a happy camper while he was there, but he seems happy to be home.

Quick questions:
His voice seems really really hoarse- is that normal? When he goes to meow its really soft and hoarse

Oh Im so glad your baby is home. He is hoarse because he was probably meowing.

How is Harley responding to him since he smells different?

I think that could be some irritation from the trach tube. From my experience, it's not uncommon.

Oh they are fine... Harely went up to him and started rubbing up against him and trying to groom him
Davidson wanted nothing to do with that, he needed to use the litterbox!

Harley is however really happy with the box/carrier they gave me to bring him home in, I guess when they went to get Davidson out of the kennel they couldn't get him to go in his that I brought so they had to put him in a box type one. Harley LOVES it. He won't get out of it

Poor little guy drank just about 1/2 a bowl of water! They said he didn't eat anything for them, so its been over 24 hrs since he ate anything. I gave him some wet food and he gobbled it right up

Thank you all so very much for all the prayers/vibes sent to me. I appreciate it so much!

I'm SOOO glad to hear that he is home and okay. Poor little baby though, he must have cried his little heart out for you and Harley for his voice to have gotten hoarse.
But he's home now and safe and that's all that matters. Stinks about the $ though.

Louie drank alot too Kenz, I think it's something to do with the anesthisia....cotton mouth I guess....poor little guy. LuckyGirl was so upset when Louie was still under, my little guy was out for awhile, they said smaller/younger kittens will sleep longer.....but Luck would nudge him and sniff him, she was so confused like "why isn't this little bugger attacking me?!"
then she followed him around and groomed him up alot more than he wanted.....Harley is such a good big brother!
I'm glad little D is doing better!

I'm glad drinking a lot is common- he's still drinking water! He wouldn't drink the stuff that I had out already, I had to give him fresh outta the fridge

Harley is just loving him- he won't leave him alone!
I'm so glad they get along so well, its much easier on me!

I'm glad your little man is doing okay and he is back at home! It's just heartbreaking thinking about them all alone at the vets.
