Disclaimer.....If at any time I thought Ping was in any danger of getting hurt the play would stop. But truth be told the kids are in more danger of Ping then him of they. Thats why I have a sign that says "Forget the dog Beware of Cat".

***********************************************************

Ok so many know that Ping came into our lives as a very young kit. Somewhere around 6-8 wks old. So he was never really raised around or with his litter mates. But as he has grown older he has begun to regard my furless kids as his litter mates. During the day and early evening Ping has no greater joy then running through the house either chasing the kids or the kids chasing him. But you probably wondering how do I know that he likes being chased by the kids? Well that is simple. 1.) when they chase him if they stop he will stop dead in his tracks and look back at them with the "why did you stop" look. 2.) on several occasions when he is running in front he will duck around a corner and wait on the kids to catch up so he can jump out at them. And at which he chases them back through the house.

These activities go on for 30mins to an hour. When he is good and wore out he will either lay down under the kitchen table (kids know this means he is done for now) or he will duck into my room where he knows the kids are not allowed.

One day I will try to take a short video and show ya'll how they are.

Just thought I would share.

I do something like this with Nacho.

To get him started I play 'peekaboo' with him. Though it can only be done if I am peering around a wall at him, otherwise it doesn't work. He then stalks me till I run away, at which point he gives chase. i will suddenly stop and turn around, and thats when he turns and runs away from me. I chase him until we get into another room, when I turn around and run again, and he follows me and it goes on like that until I can't do it anymore,

Though Nacho is the only one that'll do that.

We do this with Pushy too! He likes a good stalk and chase. Great exercise too.
Doesn't work with Wiggies though, he just looks confused.

Here... or There... Hmmm
Kitters and her Daddy play chase through the house all the time. Through the kitchen, into the bathroom, back to the living room, all over.. We know the games done when she stops chasing him back!
They are such goofballs!
